Well after reading the other threads about being Sealed, my time finally came today out at the Hump. Just no easy way to pull a fish up from 200 ft when Mr Whiskers is already on top of him. I think he ended up with my Coyote spoon in his mouth. Dam them suckers can sure run. If anyone sees a Seal with a Cop Car in it's mouth it's mine.

On another note quite the red tide over towards the Mainland between Quadra and Cortes.
 
The red algae stuff you see right now is different I used to be a fish farmer "reformed" anyways That stuff you see is hard on fish. Wild salmon will go down below it cause it irritates the gills. usually the bloom is only in the top 50 feet so fish deeper if you are in that stuff.

red tide affects all the bivalves AK clams etc. making them poisonous does not look as the same as the large algae bloom they are seeing not 100% sure what the colour the water is but know it is not that bright red.
