Stock assessment is only one of the "must do's " for sound fisheries management... So many other factors have been allowed to shrink to the point of being useless ... Habitat for one.... Better enforcement for another, Better science too...... and the list goes on. But how do we get to the politicians to get changes made ????? Theirs is the ultimate decision- making that has been responsible for allowing this tragedy to happen. As well as our apathy... the solution ???
