I'm pulling my boat out of cheanuh this afternoon for a clean up and minor maintanence and want to drop some prawn traps in the peninsula tomorrow and want to find out where I can spend the time waiting for the traps to soak by wetting a couple of lines, but i've never fished on that side and would like a couple of hints on where to head for the afternoon. I think brentwood Bay is pretty much the dead sea for salmon but there has to be soewhere on that side of the rock that could hold a few fish.

pat bay, mill bay, wain rock are your best bets - my top choice would be wain rock

X2 for Wain Rock, drop the traps on the wain Rock side of the indian island and cruise up to Wain Rock.
