Rock slide in Fraser River, B.C., may hinder salmon passage

Fish are definetly getting past this.
If they were not ,the upper backeddy would be black with fish that were not making it past. Especially with the sockeye now. With the water dropping there is definetly more lanes that are also opening up.

Hopefully the situation continues to improve With the water dropping.
We will definetly be getting screwed with useless conservation restrictions for years to come.

To bad there are no more hatcheries up past the slide, from the small amounts of fish they are transporting we need to milk them for better survival of the smolts!! Get ready for a **** a **** storm on the fishing front next year :(
We put a proposal together in conjunction with the Spruce City Wildlife Federation. The Minister had promised to look at it and never responded! They even had commitment from local First Nations.

PMO's office! Its coming right from the top!
We are hearing the same thing from the commercial side. This and anything to do with reconciliation is coming straight from the PMO. Where do the rest of Canadians fit into this plan. That is the question I’m putting forward to the people running for election in our area.

Have any salmon been actually moved above the slide so far, other than those strong enough to climb the waterfall on there own?
