Pretty much exactly my method!
26 years old , never out of the weather except the odd day when in the shop for repairs. Just finished this springs polish and wax. I do one power polish and wax each May and a wax again in late October before the daily damp aerrives for winter. I use 3M #36060 rubbing compound (fine cut) and Starbrite Polish with Teflon for the final coat.
