Rebuilt 6 cylinder Engines

I have a 20' Searay that has a 485 mercruiser enigine (3rd rebuilt, nothing but issues) just wondering if any of you would know where a guy would go to look to buy a rebuilt or new 6 cylinder engine and who can be trusted. Would it be worth checking in the States as well? Was thinking of converting to outboard but my boat is too small to make the switch for what it would cost.
I'll be buying a newer boat within the next 3 years but I need to be able to trust something in the meantime.

I've had three engines rebuilt by Alex Automotive on Fraser street and 26th Avenue in Vancouver.
they all worked out fine. They were not the same block you are talking about and the ownership has changed since then.
Your gonna have to tell us how you make out.

I have been in touch with these guys. Haven't yet made a purchase though. Shipping to Vancouver Island is 410 American. No duty. They are in Florida and also sell on EBay with a near spotless rating.
