just received a text from a friend that works for bc ferries, apparently there has been some sort of fuel or oil spill on the queen of cowichan while at dock in departure bay this morning, don't have any details hope its a minor spill, sounds like they have rescue boats getting booms out as quickly as possible, heading out fishing in an hour or so, will see what I can see.
