Port Renfrew Fishing Report

Anyone know how the salmon fishing has been in Port Renfrew the past week???

I am heading up there tomorrow and hope to do more than just fish for Halibut.

It was balls to the walls on Sunday on the shore at the tide changes. Lots of nice fish.

I talk to a guy that fishied 30 hours friday to sunday and nothing and he said lots of guys caught nothing!Dont believe the hipe!!!

Well guess there is only one way to find out for sure, I will post my results when I get back

Fished last Saturday around Camper's Creek from 7 am to 1 pm. Caught 1 around 10 lbs lost another in the teens. Seemed like maybe 1 fish per boat at best.

Looks like Reel Addiction called it right... Rennie was slow. We only caught 3 Springs between 10 and 12 pounds and did not see any over 15 lbs landed. Lots of small coho around as well. Did not go for Hali, maybe next trip. At the Marina they told us there were a couple Springs in the 30s landed.

It was smoking hot for hali done in no time salmon was slow lots of teens but nothing big.
