hey guys,
Im in telegraph cove with my bros now for some fishing. We're having a good time and have caught our very first halibut!! YOoHOo!!
He's about 30lbs. Good stuff to eat!
Anyways, ive met a few other fishermen that are visiting and we got some info from one of the guys on the dock that they are doing really well for coho out in port alice.
Im wondering if anybody has any recent info? As well, when I did a 'search' it seemed like people were catching lots of lings and chicken halibuts in July. Would it still be good for bottom fishing out there?
Any info appreciated.
Will post a more detailed report of our trip. We still have a few days left to fish.
