Upgraded when purchasing a used boat. Removed at the Yamaha dealership and never used by myself. I did power things up and everything seems to function.
Equipment is located in Alberta but I will be traveling to WCVI Aug 5 to meet possible buyers at points along the way.

You might want to see if there is an existing DSC number in the radio. It is hard to remove and change if it is there. A buyer should be aware

Is there an easy way to check if the radio has a DCS number?

If you turn it on you should see DSC in the menu and you can see if it is signed in. Some radios do not have dsc and this would not be a problem. I bought a Raymarine used radio from a boat dealer in Arizona and it had the DSC assigned and I had to pay Raymarine shop $150 to remove the number and put mine in.
