Pinks and Springs

Can anyone give me advice on getting past the Pinks when targeting Springs? Depth, speed, gear?

Sometimes there are so many pinks that you can't stay away from them.I won't fish an area that has lots of pinks.Can't stand the pesky things.

Pink salmon bite on anything when schools of pinks are thick. I used any hootchies that target chinooks, unforunately, pinks like to bite on hootchies often.

When too many pinks or Coho are around, I switch over to 6" & 7" Tomic plugs or 6" spoons to target springs.
