Pink salmon impacts on orcas

Interesting observation of the two year frequency of orca deaths / births that correlates with pink salmon abundance. Also odd year pinks are becoming even more dominant.

Thanks for posting the real scientific paper. I would think an analysis of the Northern resident pattern of deaths / births would be the next easy step and if that correlates with pink salmon runs in the north there's a whole lot of smoke coming from that pink gun..
