oysters, mussels etc

As I sit here dreaming about prawning and crabbing I was wondering if there are oysters and mussels around Campbell River.

Use extreme caution when gathering mussels. They are very sensitive to any kind of pollution. This includes marinas, docks, industries, float homes, boat launches, farm runoff, etc. Best to check at you local fisheries office. They will have maps of closed areas. I was quite surprised to see how much was closed in my area.
