Old fishing rod

Hello, I have inherited 2 old I believe they are split cane fishing rods? One looks like a fly rod style and the other is almost like salmon sized. I believe they have never been used as the condition is great. The fly rod says made by dawn Holbrook and is #100 and the other one has a doctors name on it. I’m just wondering if anyone has any info on these rods or knows approx value as I am looking to sell so I guess I’m open to offers. Thanks, Jesse

I had a peek at the name on the fly rod (Dawn Holbrook) it seems he was a split cane rod builder of some repute from Washington State the other on I really can't see the name but it's either a two handed fly rod or a Salmon spinner that you would use with a centre-pin reel, like a Hardy Bro's Silex Jewel or such. Beautiful rods just the same There's a guy that is always at the Outdoor show at Abbotsford that always has antique cane rods at the show. His card says that he's a Historian and Appraiser he might be able to help you out. His contact info is David Willey phone 604-941-6117, Email: davewilley@shaw.ca. give him a shout and see what he thinks.
