Oak Bay Marina lease is up and redevelopment

My hope would be that they do not reduce the size of the marina and keep sufficient parking to support it.
A fishing pier like Campbell River with an ice cream and food bar would be nice, but again would need sufficient parking.

This would also be a good location for a large quality public boat launch like Esq. but again, lots of parking would be need for trucks and trailers.

Its always about less parking. Driving people to get rid of their vehicles. You're lucky Helps isn't mayor or Oak Bay or you'd have a homeless shelter there for sure. in the development plans.
