Thanks! - But what that fish needed was a handle to hold on to! Between the slime, and the fact that I just couldn't get my hand around the wrist of his tail. And let's not forget that dislocated shoulder in 1995...

The neat thing about this video is that we were the ONLY boat at Ferrer Point when playing that Salmon. Not something that you get very often.

What doesn't get shown in the video, but is hinted at a couple of times, is the big one that got away. Had a real screamer that just about emptied the reel before getting into the kelp and breaking off. Hence the comment about the Watermellon Apex. []
