need some opinions

I'm in the process of looking for a new work van. I found a 2006 Chevy Express 1 ton long wheel base 6.0 litre gas engine with 65,000 kms on it. It's in good shape. Dueck on Marine is selling it for $19,990 I low balled an offer today for $15,000 which the salesman said no. No counter offer other than they are looking for close to full price. So negotiations came to an abrupt halt. I'll wait for a while and see what happens.
Any other opinions or pieces of advice?

Well, if you want the truck i think you know what you need to do, 19 sounds like a realistic price for that truck.. i would think an offer of maybe 17500 would be reasonable?

and put it this way... i got a 2005 F-250 with 8000km's on it, v10 gas, long box supercab, for the asking price of Dueck on this truck, One year ago almost to the week
