This connects to your chart plotter and transmits the plotter screen to your phone or tablet. There are other tasks it can do, but this is what I had it for.
If you have Lowrance, and a Gen2 unit, you can view your plotter/sounder screen, if you have Gen3, your tablet or phone can manipulate the screen of the sounder/plotter.
