As a life long collector of many things including postage stamps, I always felt the conservation stamp on our licenses' were not only beautiful, but also low mintage and well worth holding on to. For a couple of years (1995-6), all juveniles were required to have the conservation sticker, just not pay for it. These stamps shown below with just a letter J would be extremely limited in my opinion.

Are you still buying Salmon stamps ?

Yes, but now they are just printed on your license and not worth saving. Are you still able to actually buy the stamp?

No-- I was just curious because I have a large shadow box plaque from the The Pacific Salmon Foundation with all the stamps from 1989/90 to 2014/15. Ten are initialed or signed by the artists. I purchased it years ago at a PSF fund raiser. No idea what it is worth.. any ideas ?

No, not sure about value. I do remember seeing a framed conservation stamp and a larger print of the same together one time.

Your frame has 25 stamps in it! These are Canadian government issued stamps in very limited numbers. I'm not an appraiser, but you figure just the stamps alone, sold individually on eBay would fetch $20 -/+, plus the shadow box.
Sounds very nice!
Picture?

Two stamps are loose so the shadow box backing will have to be removed to re glue them in place. I will email a pic to a buddy here and get him to post it . Also I have the larger print from 2008 with two stamps at each bottom corner. One is signed. Interesting history. Remember the old head recovery pins DFO sent out ? I had a whole bunch of them too.... no idea where they went or I put them !!!

yes, I remember those pins....................what a sham, you had to pre-purchase them and all I caught that year was mackerel!
They were red and yellow, I have some somewhere, now I have to look for them.

Hummm-- the ones I remember were handed out for free when a head was turned in. The first few issues were brass ( or what looked like brass)

Maybe different program ? ps== working on the photos--

Misunderstood you, I thought you were referring to the possession plastic tie wraps that went through the gill plate. These were sold to you prior to fishing and required if you caught a legal Salmon. I'll try to find them and post a picture.

Honestly, I'm in the process of cleaning house and reducing clutter so my kids won't be burdened with the chore some day.
Thanks for the offer anyways.
