Mercury Marine has now created it's own V8 - 4 cams, 4 valves per cylinder and 552 cid. It's rated at up to 1650hp, all for only $65,000.00!

The 9.0 is a new offering from Mercury for 2014. The bare motor in a crate with no wiring harness is $65,000.00. The complete engine with outdrive is around $125,000.00. No doubt that Jay Leno already has one.
