The NDP want to make Pacific Salmon the OFFICIAL FISH OF BC.

Wonder how that would fly with the BC Libs and the Feds as they seem to want to give our Pacific Salmon to the Endangered Species List......

Designating Pacific salmon as B.C.'s official fish would be a nice touch, but until the management of Pacific salmon is ratcheted down to a local, knowledgeable and caring structure, such a designation will do nothing but herald one of the most tragic extinctions the earth has had to witness.
