lowrence G3 install

I just got a lowrence G3 and will be installing it on my atlantic tower about 2 feet from my VHF antenna, is that a problem??

Also, if it is a problem, can it me eliminated by turning off the VHF, when using the Radar??

Any responses appreciated, especially those in the same situation or techs, thanks everybody!

I'm no tech, but I have a similar install with the G3 and haven't noticed any problems. Previously I had a JRC unit in the same location and had no issues. Might be best to check the manual and contact Harbour Chandler - they should be able to answer your question.

Also no Marine Electronics tech. - but what you are proposing is the way my antennas are set up and I have no problems with either the Radar antenna (JRC) or the VHF antenna being side by side on top of the arch. Both work very well and at the same time with no indication of mutual or one way interference between them and the higher up on the boat for both the better, in terms of operation and range.
