Lowrance Hook 7

Having issues with Lowrance Hook 7 gps/ fish finder. Fish finder is not showing good definition. I was told that factory transducer is not good and I should purchase a different one. Anyone

best upgrade if the hook does chirp is a TM165 HW
prob pay more for it than the hook -7 , but a std p66 does a decent job
best advise is contact Colin at HC and ask him for a ball park set-up or use some of the online youtube vids to help you set it up ...

best to do a search on this site. lots of good info i picked up over the years from guys having issues. the factory settings on some of these units are very generic and can be tweaked.

for example, if you know you are gonna be fishing in water that is 150’deep, change the range to manual and toggle it to 150 or say, 175 and your fish echoes and bait will be more defined.
