you could try restoring the settings to factory default, I messed around with the settings on my sounder so much that it stopped working right, that did the trick for me.

Yep. I have tried both a soft and hard reset. I have also seen the sounder take forever to get past the startup screen. As well the sounder has locked up so bad that I had to cycle the power.
