Hey I’m looking for a hard top like the ones on Grady whites, but for an older boat so don’t mind if it’s not as pretty. Anyone have anything lying around or know where to get one built?
Should take those short windows off and make a hardtop from aluminum with taller windows
Every time im in Ukee and see this boat I think finally someone got rid of all that nonsense, now you can standup and drive without a window frame in your face and all the canvas. Some of you probably know this charter company
Where are you located? A buddy of mine had an aluminum hard top fabricated by a guy in Port Alberni for his 622 Campion, awesome job but not cheap. I think it was $5500 in the end, then he had to get the side and drop curtains made.
5500 is a really good price for something like that. Comes down to choice of windows. Honestly there is alot more work involved doing the pipe frame, top portion and the canvas work. Pipe bending and welding is not fun lol. Very time consuming and tedious work.
If ur on the island , Liquid Metal in Sidney 7000$ (our concept after perusing many designs on line , they insisted on site visits during construction) , Under Cover Canvas Metchosin , 3000 $ ~ Acrylic Front window . Regards
