Let's see your boat!

How many rods do you fish
6 rods ,We fished two off the bow ,two off the stern. One on either side near the back were the down riggers sat. Lots of other boats were fishing 7 rods. The 7th a bow rod facing straight out front. Which seemed to get a lot of fish

Ah yeah. Love fishing with 6 rods up there. When the pinks come through it is a big pain. They seem to find a way to get all 6 lines all tangled up.

This old Starcraft 14 is our cabin boat, sits under tarps at Thormanby for 8 months at a time and fires right up. The E40 motor is a little newer (late 80s) and strong. Pushes that almost flat bottomed hull faster than water conditions permit most of the time. Survived a full immersion experience after I took it back to the interior for some TLC, back in service smoking and shaking just like before. Sometimes it's nice to just scoot to the coast without towing my boat and the associated gas and ferry costs, just drop the green machine in for a couple of times crabbing/prawning/fishing. It's co owned by the family members in the cabin trust, which has its issues, but maintenance is simple and cheap and there are no moorage fees.

And boat #3 might just be the most fun of them all. Great fishing platform for interior upland lakes with a little electric troller for added mobility. Or in drift boat mode for steelhead adventures.
