I got a dandy today too at Elk, was just a hair shy of 20 inches. Fat, healthy nice fish. I estimated it to be about 3.5 pounds. Took it on a fluorescent green micro leech pattern I tie on a type 6 line.

Off a down rigger or just a weight on the line? I have only had sucess trolling spoons in langford. But never tried a downrigger.

I find that at langford lake the metal dock off the trail with power bait and a weight that sits at the bottom works best.

if your fishing off the far metal dock at Langord Lake and bottom fishing the best power bait to use is 3 sunrise power bait its working the best lately for big fish,and if your in a boat a panther martin #4 is doing good also Black leech flys
