that happened over 50 years ago and still seeing the negative spinoff.
imagine what damages will be found in another 50 years ?

I always wondered what happened to that River and why there were no fish. Such a beautiful area, and a fair size River, should be able to sustain a good sized run of all salmon. Now I know, and it's too bad. Thankfully, there are people who care and hopefully they can turn that River around.

Tsolum river was the same. Old copper sulfate runoff (I think) from a mine near mt Washington. I believe they successfully turned that around by proper site rehab and perhaps water treatment? It can and should be done.

Correct me if I'm wrong on this, merely going off recall.
