Put in a Jabsco a couple of years ago. It's been great. The earlier Amarine pump from Amazon was total junk. Might have made two days use before it died.

Pump has to be mounted in a place where it gets some water splashed on it so RV one not best option .....but you are right they are the best value.

only difference I saw was one was painted one wasnt , maybe paint it ... then cover the whole pump marine or RV with a good heavy coating of fluid film or something other

Make a plexi glass box for it..works just fine.
