ISO half of a 9-11 ft rod

Anyone want to get rid of a rod with a broken tip, or lost the top half of a salmon rod? Looking for just the half with the grips, something approx 5 ft long. Extra bonus points if it's old school and has the female (socket) ferrule. Discuss by PM or call/message at 250-four eight six-3239. TIA for any offer.

Thanks to @Fisher_dude I made a stick so I can grab the downrigger clip without reaching out or tilting up. Giving that one to a friend, now I need one for my boat. Anyone else got an old rod they don't want? Having the female part of the ferrule makes it easy, drop in a 10/0 hook, fill with epoxy.

Got a hot tip: bamboo. I have plenty of that available. Cut an inch or so from a knuckle, perfect bulkhead to hold some epoxy poured around a 10/0 hook. Many thanks to @Fish Assassin for the info. A little stick tape to dress it up and we're done.
