Injector testing

how safe is it to unplug an injector while idling to confirm flow and or spark? Just wanting to see if I'm going on all cylinders. I don't notice anything bogging down at WOT and get get 60km/hr on my 4000lbs boat. Just curious next season ill service the injectors.
 
No issues at all. You’ll know if that cylinder is down the second you unplug the injector. If there is no change in the idle then you’ve located the problem.
 
Great thanks this outboard has given me a run for my money. thankfully its strong but had to do the relays, poppet, thermostats and all sorts of stuff.
