Ice Fishing

Hey everyone I am new to this forum and this is my first posting and I am hoping all of you can help I have always received a lot of very helpful information from this forum and am very grateful.
I was hoping to plan an ice fishing trip this year with family but I've never been before and am really dying to try it, I just know nothing about it. I was hoping to head up to Bridge Lake because I know the lake holds not only Rainbow and Kokanee but also Lake trout, Burbot and Artic Char. I was just wondering if anyone here knows what month would be best and frozen enough to fish and what baits or jigs work best for the different species of fish. Also if there are any lake side cabins that are rentable at that time of year.
Thanks, tight lines
James

All I know about ice fishing is it's a drinking game that sober people can try too.
