Trying to drain the fuel in the float bowl of my merc 9.9 ProKicker. The user manual doesn't indicate which screw it is. Logic tells me it will be a screw located near the bottom of float bowl but I don't want to guess and mess it up. I know there are a few members here with a current generation Merc 9.9 or 9.9 ProKicker so if you know where the screw is located, I'd appreciate some help. Even better if you can take a snapshot picture of where it is located and what it looks like. thanks in advance.

look at a diagram on the Mercury Marine website. Choose your motor and you will get a diagram for all parts of the motor.

It’s that flat head screw at the bottom of the carb. When you take it out you can squeeze the primer bulb and pump fuel out. Just be careful screwing it back in. It’s easy to over torque it and strip the bowl. Don’t ask me how I know
