I have just bought this rod to pair up with a peetz I have
Wondering its age, who made the fiberglass blank etc.
It has a Fenwick reel seat and butt cap.

T5105 ?

It is quite noodle-ly feeling. I did have a similar rod years ago that I assumed was more a centre pin rod. I think that one was built at Fred’s Custom tackle and had the same colour blank. I fished it off the downrigger and with a flasher attached - it felt too soft. I think with this one I’ll go dummy flasher off the rigger.
Cheers

with everything i’m seeing in the pics it looks like a mooching rod from the late 70’s to early 80’s. This was a common thing back in the day for the local tackle shop to have their “in house” logo printed on the rod. i have one from River Sportsman around in the same vintage somewhere. i find these old school mooching rods don’t make great downrigger rods as they were meant for “feel” a slip weight and a livey. chinook take can be quite subtle. that looks sweet with that old school Peetz!

Hey, that's my rod!!;)

Seriously, I'm doing exactly that but with a Richmake I found in a house I was delivering material too. Two broken eyes on the bottom half and the tip guide missing on the top half. Got it for nothing. Quick fix, and I'll be running spoons naked as well as soon as I get the boat dealt with.

Yes. The last rod I had with a blank like this was mint. I sold it before I blew it up on the rigger fishing and hopefully it is a prized river rod now. This one is not so tidy so if it breaks so be it.

This rod , looks like a similar blank ? , made in Vancouver 8' dyna glass " sea trout " ~ corona spinning reel combo also came from C R in the " 70 s " given to me from my wives' friends hubby after giving them some "magical disappearing smoked salmon" a few years back , he was there working for the coast guard

I will say late 70's. I bought a similar blank but in a steelhead rod, 10'6", from Royal Coachman in Victoria on Yates street. The reel seat is back further due to it being a center pin rod. I paired it with a Hardy Silex. Still have both.

As paulo stated it looks like an early Richmake. The wrappings and printing are familiar. Just a guess.eman

I believe a lot of the Richmake RODS were lamiglas blanks.. stilL have a orginal center pin rod my dad bought in the early 70s for his steelhead rod... :)
