Quick one here.
How many amp inline fuse do you have/ recommend for main power coming from house power to bus/ fuse box? Mine cooked and I can not read it.
Thanks:Ray

A lot depends on the wire guage you are running from your "house power" to your fuse box. Each size of wire is rated for a spacific current. It is very easy to have too much current draw at the fuse box if you have a lot of fused circuits. Your best bet is to add up the current draw you have for each circuit. As an example say your total is at most 50amps. Now determine the length of the wire you have run from main power to fuse panel. the table indicates a 6ga wire. No i don't know that from memory. For that fuseable link it can be larger than your required capacity. The only reason it's there is to prevent a dead short. Resulting in a fire. 50 to 100 amp. Small boats we use 50s, bigger boats we use 80s or 100s
