Anyone have any easy solutions for foggy double pane windows? I have a bunch that went foggy after I washed the house a few weeks ago. The windows are double pane in vinyl frames. Is glass replacement possible? Anyone here do glass repairs? TF

You've lost the thermo seal. Most glass shops can come out and re-seal. May only be a short term fix. Glass replacement is possible but probably as expensive as replacing the windows.

Getting a glass shop to come and replace the double pane glass will be way less than replacing the whole window. If you're handy at all its not that difficult. Take the outside stops off the window and measure the glass panels exactly. Take those measurements to a glass shop or shops and get a price. They will give you some very good advice on replacing the new glass panels and will have everything that you need. If you don't want to install yourself. They will have installers as well. The end result will be cheaper than replacing the whole unit.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like some seals were compromised while washing. Did you use a pressure washer? The seals are affected by heat, so maybe they got soft and water got in. Depending on the frame style, it might be easier and cheaper to replace them as a unit. If you can get the glazings out without damaging the frame, measure up and get a local glass shop to replace.

The seals failed a while ago, water pressure during washing allowed some moisture in and showed up the problem.
