Hi guys,

Heading to tribune bay for the long weekend. Any tips to fishing or prawning in the area? Trolling or jigging? It would be much appreciated.

Also, anyone here use the deep bay boat launch? Is it still open? Would it be ok to leave just a trailer in the parking lot?

Prawning sucks...
Trolling or jiggings works depending on what you want to catch.
Deep Bay boat lauch is still there. And you can leave you trailer there just ask at the office as where to park it. Maybe call first.
In the evening run 20mins south and fish the Big Q if you want springs. Fish till dark.

Heading there as well for the long weekend and will be staying at Fords Cove. I talked with someone at the Deep Bay launch and they said parking is out on the street but they have been doing it for years without a problem. We will be spending most of the time on the beach but plan to get some fishing in as we are there from Friday till Monday. Probably troll south Hornby mainly. We're the little Green Hourston and we'll be on the beach during the day if you wanna say hi. Never fished the area so maybe a collaborative effort is an idea.
