Homemade Puller

Hey guys, I removed a 12 Volt Powerwinch off my boat trailer and installed a manual winch. An old timer told me they make great pot pullers if converted right. Has anyone heard of this or tried it? I have a general plan but would appreciate any advice that any of you may have. Thanks.

I have done a couple over the years, if your in campbell river I can show you one. They pull great, I geared mine to pull 125 a minute. The 125 feet a min is one trap or four.

I actually work in CR, would love to check them out....I'll attach some pictures of what I'm starting with. I may also just get a new cover for it and keep it as a boat trailer winch.
