Ex commercial fisherman trying to catch trout on Okanagan for granddaughter use to Traps and Big hooks .Whats the best way willow leaf and ???????

Check the report section of this guy's website. They use plugs, spoons, apexes and bucktails. Sometimes with flashers, often with downriggers. Willowleafs are for kokanee and little trout. Take her to Wood Lake to get steadier action (for kokanee). The long hours for a chance at a trout or two on Ok. Lake may be too boring for youngsters. Go see Savis at Troutwaters in Kelowna for great info on places to fish around here.
