Help!

I have been a salmon fisherman my whole life and know absolutly nothing about catching freshwater fish like trout and basses. so a long time friend of mine who owns a cabin on a small trout stocked lake by the skeena river. So he has invited me up there for a couple of weeks and knowing that i am a accoplished fisherman asks me if i can teach his kids how to catch trout in the lake. And i have no clue how. Can anyone give me tell me some advice and tips on how to catch some rainbows?

go to the time tested old stand bye bobber and a worm. Usually stocked fish cant resist it. There are tons of other methods to catch them but with kids its probably gonna be your best bet.
