Looks like he was an awesome guy Matt.

Those pics remind me of my father. He believed in hard work but also enjoyed his play time and made time for it. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping just anything outdoors. In many things he was well ahead of his time and I see only today people employing tactics and methods he used years ago. My father was an awesome man and a great father.

He certainly was, and still is thankfully.
Haven't been able to cross the Medicine Line and go for a visit in far too long.
That will change once the new job and hunting wraps up.
Overdue!

Ma & Pa had me in deer & elk camps as soon as I could walk.
By Horseback. We hunted, fished and camped with my Grandparents and a multitude of Aunts & Uncles.
There was no way I was going to see the world any other way!
And I am very thankful for their guidance into what my life became!!

Sounds very much to me that your Pa was a lot like mine.
We were BLESSED!
