Hi Flyrod you might like to check a web site called mapster. It give counted fish numbers for the Cowichan going back to 1954 and the biggest coho returns were 75,000 and the biggest chinook return was 25614 which occurred in 1995.
That being said the numbers for the past 10 years have be terrible.
