My fishing trip to Ukee last week cost me more than I thought when my wife gave her car away to my son while I was gone.
Anyone have anything to say about a 2006 or 07 Escape?

Getting one for out in Ottawa while I'm at university...my parents and my rental vehicle happened to be one as well...such nice vehicles...decent gas milage as well.

Okay, thanks guys. Good luck in school. The kid is off to SFU for year 3 and is tired of getting around on the bus. We gave him the 2003 Matrix. Meanwhile I still have a 1996 F150 and a 1974 11'4" Whaler. Where have I gone wrong? I have a bad case of 12 footitis and will need a new truck to pull my hypothetical 23' boat, but it seems I have to wait some more yet again. 4 trips to the Island, plenty of fish, lots of golf and a bonus trip to Maui. I really have nothing to whine about. It was a great summer- back to reality Tuesday.

Through his co-ops, scholarship dough, and a little help from his parents, he'll leave school with an engineering degree debt free and should be able to start making payments on my boat right away.
We've had the Escape for 9 days seems okay so far (2007).
