Foam

When you guys are talking about closed cell spray foam is that the same as spray foam insulation used in building construction?

No i don't believe they are the same. I believe the foam used in buildings can be open cell.

2 pound SPF (spray polyurethane foam) used by commercial applicators in buildings is definitely closed cell foam. Water does not penetrate and it is also considered to be an acceptable vapour barrier.

I inflate a truck tube under the bow of my old v-drive flat. It's keeps the bow up making it easy to clip onto the bow eye, I can have it running in a few hours after that lol. Oh yes, the good ol days
