Fishing close to Jade City

Hello people. I hope that your lines are tight and that you are having a great time.

I am planning on bringing my 2 amazing kids up to Jade City to do some exploring and go fishing along the way. We will be travelling north from Smithers and we may go through Fort Nelson but we are not sure yet.

Any advice on lake fishing or stream fishing around Jade City? We will have a boat (14').
