Fish Farms Reason for Sockeye Collapse

Sockeye have dwindled in numbers ever since the farms came about, This shouldn't be rocket science. It has a huge impact on the returing and outgoing fish. So does farm irrigation in the interiors tribs, as well fertilizers and ranching. Over fishing in my opinion has always been the constant, but the farming, fish farms, and increased usage of water and fertilizers are killers.
The province needs to buck up and make these fish farms landbased period, and regulate the farmers usage around tribs.

How about closed containment fish farms with fibreglass pens rather than nets? Have a look at Agrimarine and what they are doing.
