downriver service in Victoria?

What's the best place to get down riggers serviced in Victoria? Island Outfitters or make the run out to Sidney and go to Scott directly?

IMO, Go directly to Scotty, well worth the effort.

depends what you need Terry ?
if it's brake adjustments and minor repairs O.F.
can do it. ... motor replacements go to Scotty

Sorry for the subject typo - #damyouautocorrect -- that's what happens when you post from the boat on a mobile phone without glasses on

One of my riggers needs the brake repaired. It looks like it might be missing one of the three brake shoes so I may take it direct to Scotty.

Outfitter's can do it. they just repaired a broken swivel base for ... no charge.

I would give Scotty a call. Seems to me they will do free service every year

Took them over to IO as I don't have the time to drive to Sidney this week. Will see how they do. First time they've been in for a service and they reminded me to register the units with Scotty for both warranty and theft protection. Will likely take the other one in just to get it serviced. Nothing wrong with it, but it's probably due.
