Well, i guess it's been too long since i replaced the wire on one
of my electrics. Put a brand new finned 12 lb ball down for it's maiden voyage and after a few ups and downs, snap...
the wire busted losing brand new weight and clip *&@#$!##

from now on , every 2nd year it gets replaced !

Yeh, out today abd noticed 30 ft out braided wire unraveling. In the summer same thing, So out comes my spares kit and refixed. I think its the wire Im using now because I can go 2 to three years and even push it without that unraveling bit,
Not much action in Sooke today. Hardley any bait showing. Released 4.all on green and white hootchie,100 ft in 100ft water, Trailer park. 6lb ers predominant.
