Double Eagle 185 Build

Putting some composite deck boards to good use…. Came up with a simple solution to keep my catch out the bilge water, with the ability to remove easily to clean things up 👍. This is way more fun than itchy-butt glassing 😬.
do you plan on using the bilge as a fish storage area ?

Both of yours and Dans boats look awesome, it’s awesome building everything yourself and getting it just how you want it. I like the rod/net holder on the wall too.

Look at the shine in the off the gel oat behind the controls, beauty job! Really enjoying the time and patience you and Dan J are putting into your rebuilds, well done.
It’s paint not gelcoat. Love the access hatches. I was going to ask if the batteries would fit through but I guess being able to remove the panel easily it doesn’t matter. Great job!

Cranked up the heat and got rear panel finished up… eva for a gasket, will come out easy with 4 bolts…

Attempted to fire the main the other day… turned over but no go. Traced the prob after not hearing the hp fuel pump at start up. Dropped in new pump/ filters and gave the fuel rail/ injector’s a good clean - fired up today 👍. Bled the steering… both helms work great. Back to hull sanding….
