I just got my do it yourself sand lance spoons in the mail and while I like the stickers I though it would be nice to have more opportunity to "decorate" these things. I love the build and the size of these things.
I cleaned the spoon with rubbing alcohol then painted it with clear nail polish and then used a felt marker kit to "mark" them. I actually do not have the jiffy kit I ordered http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00...rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2055621862&pf_rd_i=desktop but i did have a purple and red marker to try with. The kits have a nice variety of shades of pink green and purple so they should be fantastic. The nail polish is to allow the marker to stay on the spoon otherwise it rubs of fairly easily. Still tho the nail polish is not perfect but it will work for now. This isn't one I would fish with it was just more to get the method down. Waiting for my markers to get started.
